It is composed of a monitor, a camera, a light source, a suction&irrigation pump, an electrosurgical unit, gas insufflator, etc.

1)Monitor

It displays the surgical field in the abdominal cavity in real time. Indicators such as resolution affect the image clarity, assisting doctors in judging the tissue state.

2)Camera

It converts the optical signals of the laparoscope lens into electrical signals, can perform basic image processing, and supports high-definition or 3D imaging.

3)Light Source

Mostly LED or xenon lamps, the light is transmitted to the front end of the endoscope through optical fibers, providing low-temperature illumination to ensure clear imaging.

4)Irrigation and Suction System

It delivers the irrigation fluid through positive pressure, cleaning blood, debris, etc. in the surgical area, keeping the field of view clear. It can also cool the instruments and prevent adhesion.

5)Electrosurgical Unit

That is, a high-frequency electrosurgical knife, which uses the heat generated by high-frequency current to achieve tissue cutting and hemostasis, reducing bleeding. The knife body has an insulating layer and a corresponding switch.

6)Gas Insufflator

It injects gases such as carbon dioxide into the abdominal cavity to maintain the set pressure, creating an operating space for easy entry of instruments and observation. At the same time, it monitors parameters such as pressure, flow rate, and total volume in real-time and automatically adjusts the gas intake speed.
